I have been teaching both introductory and advanced courses in statistics, for students from many different fields: statistics, economics, public health, medicine, mechatronics and other areas. From the experiences of teaching introductory statistics, we developed a textbook, which includes exercises and solutions. Have a look at the dedicated site for this book.
The advanced courses I have given cover concepts of biostatistics, causal inference, missing data and programming with – and were held at Ludwig-Maximilans-Universität München, UMIT University, the University of Cape Town, and IIT Kanpur. Currently, most lecture materials are posted on Moodle. However, as an example, here a some recent slides of my lectures on statistical methods in epidemiology, causal inference and programming with R.
Slides on time-to-event data and competing risks are available here.
From my numerous causal inference courses, have a look at current materials with regards to RCTs.
For the course, have a look at selected slides on ggplot and regression.
The courses I am currently teaching at LMU are listed here.
In addition to teaching courses at universities, my colleagues and I have published educational papers. They are listed below. If you have any feedback regarding these materials, or suggestions on how to improve them, please let me know.
